Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 20, 2013, RCS Capital Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that members of its executive management team will ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Monday, June 24, 2013 to commemorate the June 10, 2013 closing of the Company’s initial public offering of Class A common stock. All banks affiliated with the Company’s initial public offering were invited to join the Company’s executive management team in ringing the bell.
A copy of the press release announcing the Company’s opening bell ringing ceremony is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
