Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 30, 2013, West Bank, the wholly-owned banking subsidiary of West Bancorporation, Inc., received the approval of the Iowa Division of Banking to operate its Rochester, Minnesota, loan production office as a branch office of West Bank. The Iowa Division of Banking's approval was conditioned on West Bank receiving the approval of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. On June 14, 2013, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation granted its approval. The Rochester loan production office will begin operating as a branch office of West Bank effective July 1, 2013.
