On June 4, 2013, Barry Waite notified MacDonell Roehm, Jr., the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (the “Company”), that given the time constraints of his other professional and personal activities he had decided that it was in the best interests of the Company if he resigned from his position as a director of the Company effective at the end of fiscal year 2013. Mr. Waite’s resignation will be effective September 30, 2013.
Mr. Roehm, on behalf of the Board of Directors, acknowledged Mr. Waite’s many important contributions over his 10 years of service on behalf of the Company.
