Regulation FD Disclosure.

On June 5, 2013, Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that today that Executive Chairman Carlos A. Cabrera will provide a keynote address on June 11, 2013 at the Asia Oil & Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Mr. Cabrera’s presentation will focus on how new technology and the economic development of both onshore and offshore heavy oil resources will contribute to the world’s growing energy demand. Mr. Cabrera’s presentation materials will be available on the Company’s website, following the keynote address. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
