Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 7, 2013, Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust, Inc., a Maryland corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that the Company's board of directors formed a special committee of independent directors who has retained Wells Fargo Securities as its financial advisor to assist with the review of alternatives for a potential liquidity event for the Company. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
