Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 22, 2013, Entergy Arkansas, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an Underwriting Agreement for the sale of $250,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its First Mortgage Bonds, 3.05% Series June 1, 2023 (the “Bonds”). The sale of the Bonds closed on May 30, 2013. The Bonds were registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, by means of the Company’s automatic shelf Registration Statement on Form S-3, as amended (No. 333-169315-03).
