Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 20, 2013, NetSpend Holdings, Inc. (the Company) issued a press release announcing the postponement of the special meeting of holders of Company common stock previously scheduled for May 22, 2013. The rescheduled special meeting will be held on May 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, at the offices of Baker Botts, L.L.P., 98 San Jacinto Blvd., Suite 1500, Austin, Texas 78701. The record date for the special meeting will remain April 3, 2013. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as an exhibit and incorporated in its entirety herein by reference.
