As previously announced on February 12, 2013, following the filing of BlackRock, Inc.’s (the “Company”) Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 9, 2013, (i) Ann Marie Petach transitioned from the role of Chief Financial Officer and joined the Company’s BlackRock Solutions® group as Senior Managing Director in the Client Solutions business and (ii) Gary S. Shedlin became Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
