Item 7.01.     REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.

MBIA Inc. announced today that on May 7, 2013 it, together with its subsidiaries MBIA Insurance Corporation and National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation, consummated the comprehensive settlement agreement and related agreements with Bank of America Corporation and certain of its subsidiaries previously announced on May 6, 2013 following receipt of certain required approvals of the New York State Department of Financial Services.
