On April 21, 2013, director Robert L. Lumpkins informed the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Airgas, Inc. (the “Company”) that he would not stand for re-election at the Company’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held in August 2013. Mr. Lumpkins indicated that his decision was not the result of any disagreement with the Board or with the Company’s management.
