Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On April 4, 2013, Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Myles R. Itkin has left the Company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company, as part of the Company’s reduction in force in connection with its restructuring efforts.
(c) The Company also announced that it has appointed Ian T. Blackley as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company effective April 4, 2013. Mr. Blackley, age 58, joined the Company in 1991. He has served as Senior Vice President and Head of International Shipping Operations since 2009 and as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of OSG Ship Management (UK) Ltd. since 2005. Prior to 2005, Mr. Blackley has held numerous operational and financial positions including Assistant Treasurer and Vice President, Treasury. Mr. Blackley holds a diploma in Nautical Science from Glasgow College of Nautical Studies and holds a Master Mariner Class 1 license.
