Preferred Apartment Communities, Inc. is filing this Amendment on Form 8-K/A to its amended Current Report on Form 8-K/A filed on April 3, 2013 solely to include the signature page which was inadvertently omitted in the Form 8-K/A filed on April 3, 2013. The information previously reported in the Form 8-K/A is hereby incorporated by reference into this Amendment. Except for the inclusion of the omitted signature page, all other information included in the original filing is unchanged.
