(b) After 42 years of service, Joe L. Wilson, Executive Vice-President of United Bankshares, Inc. (“United”) and United Bank, Inc., an indirectly-owned subsidiary of United, retired effective March 31, 2013. Mr. Wilson served in the role of Risk Manager for United.
Darren K. Williams, United’s President of the Morgantown, West Virginia region and the former Chief Financial Officer of Centra Financial Holdings, Inc. and Centra Bank, Inc., succeeds Mr. Wilson as the Risk Manager for United.
