Item 8.01 - Other Events.
On March 27, 2013, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jones Lang LaSalle Income Property Trust, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a loan modification agreement with AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company on the $53.9 million mortgage for 111 Sutter Street, a 286,000 square foot, multi-tenant office building in San Francisco, California. The loan modification extended the maturity date by eight years from July 2015 to April 2023, provides for interest-only payments for the first four years of the new term and reduces the fixed-rate interest from 5.58% to 4.50%. The loan modification is expected to save the Company annually in excess of $550,000 in interest expense and defers in excess of $850,000 in annual principal amortization payments.
