Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 26, 2013, New Energy Systems Group, a Nevada corporation (the “Company”), announced that its Board of Directors received a notice from its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Weihe Yu, to withdraw his preliminary, non-binding proposal dated February 28, 2013. A copy of the press release is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
