On March 26, 2013, VelaTel Global Communications, Inc., a Nevada corporation and the registrant responsible for the filing of this Form 8-K (“Company”) issued a press release announcing its intention to sell the equity interest in or assets held through its Peru subsidiary, VelaTel Peru, S.A. The press release will be available through the Company’s website, www.velatel.com.
