Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 15, 2013, Digirad Corporation (the “Company”) adopted a 10b5-1 plan (the “Plan”), which is meant to comply with Rule 10b-18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. The Plan was implemented consistent with the Company’s previous announcement on Current Report on Form 8-K, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 5, 2013, that the Company increased the amount available under its stock buyback program, which was originally implemented in February 2009.
