On March 19, 2013, Lightstone Value Plus Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc., (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that the $127 million Swedbank AB loan to 1407 Broadway Mezz II, LLC (“1407 Broadway”) has been extended by ten years and the interest rate has been modified. The Company has a 49.0% ownership in 1407 Broadway. A copy of such press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
