Amendments to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws; Change in Fiscal Year

On March 6, 2013, the Board of Directors of Finisar Corporation (the “Company”) determined to change the fiscal year of the Company from a year ending on April 30 of each year to a year ending on the Sunday closest to the last day of April in each year. Such change will be effective with the fiscal year ending April 28, 2013 and will be reflected in the Company's annual report on Form 10‑K for that fiscal year.
