Item 8.01.             Other Events.

On February 27, 2013, Starwood Property Trust, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.44 per share of common stock for the quarter ending March 31, 2013, payable on April 15, 2013 to all common stockholders of record as of March 29, 2013. The Board of Directors has changed the record date for such dividend to March 28, 2013, which remains payable on April 15, 2013.
