Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 15, 2013, New Century Bancorp, Inc. (the “Registrant”), announced financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2012. A copy of the press release (the “Press Release”) announcing the Registrant’s results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2012, including a table of selected financial information, is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
