Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 19, 2013, WaferGen Bio-systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing a co-marketing agreement with QIAGEN KK (a subsidiary of QIAGEN N.V.) for the joint promotion of certain products in Japan in the areas of genomics platforms such as Next-Gen sequencing (NGS) and qPCR. A copy of the press release issued by the Company is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
