Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
The senior management of GSI Group Inc. (the “Company”) will present at the CJS Securities 13th Annual “New Ideas for the New Year” Investor Conference to be held on January 16, 2013 and the 15th Annual Needham Growth Conference to be held on January 17, 2013 (the “Conference Presentation”). A copy of the Conference Presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is also available on the Company’s website, www.gsig.com, in the Investor Relations section. The Conference Presentation includes additional business overview information of NDS Surgical Imaging (“NDS”) which was acquired by the Company on January 15, 2013.
