Explanatory Note

This Amendment No. 2 on Form 8-K/A amends the Current Report on Form 8-K/A (Amendment No. 1) filed by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston with the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 21, 2012. Due to a technical error, Amendment No. 1 omitted Exhibit 10.1. Amendment No. 1 is hereby amended to include Exhibit 10.1 attached hereto. Except for the foregoing, all other information remains the same as provided in Amendment No. 1.
