Globalscape Announces Special Cash Dividend of $0.07 per Common Share

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — December 6, 2012 — GlobalSCAPE, Inc. (NYSE MKT: GSB), a leading developer of secure information exchange solutions, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a special cash dividend of $0.07 per share of common stock.

The dividend is payable on December 27, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 17, 2012.

“The Board’s declaration of this special cash dividend reflects their confidence in our future business prospects and belief that we will continue to generate cash from operations,” said Craig Robinson, President and Chief Operating Officer of GlobalSCAPE, Inc.
