ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On December 4, 2012, Cash America International, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce a voluntary program to fully reimburse approximately 14,000 Ohio customers for funds collected in connection with legal proceedings initiated by the Company in Ohio from January 1, 2008 to the present seeking the collection of past due loan amounts owed to the Company.  A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
