Honolulu, Hawaii, November 15, 2012 - Territorial Bancorp Inc. Allan Kitagawa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said “We are pleased to declare this special dividend. In addition to our regular dividend that was declared on November 1, 2012, this special dividend is a reflection of our performance during the current year and our strong capital position. We also believe that this is a way for us to thank all of our shareholders who have been supportive of us over the past three years. We continue to focus on building shareholder value through our payment of dividends and our share repurchase program. We believe that this special dividend demonstrates that focus.”
