Harold L. Covert, the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Lumos Networks Corp.  (the “Company”), will serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer effective November 12, 2012, replacing the current principal accounting officer Kenneth R. Boward.  Additional information regarding Mr. Covert is set forth in the Company’s definitive proxy statement on Schedule 14A dated March 27, 2012, and is incorporated by reference herein.
