Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On November 13, 2012, Lorillard, Inc. (“Lorillard” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a three-for-one stock split of Lorillard common stock. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K (“Form 8-K”).
In addition, the Company will be participating in the Morgan Stanley Global Consumer & Retail Conference in New York, New York on November 13, 2012, from 2:10 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Eastern Time. The presentation will be broadcast live over the Internet under the Investor Relations section of the Company’s website at www.lorillard.com. A copy of the slide presentation for the conference is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K.
