On October 16, 2012, the Board of Directors of Peoples Federal Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) declared a cash dividend on the Company’s common stock of $0.03 per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. The dividend will be payable to stockholders of record as of November 8, 2012 and is expected to be paid on November 16, 2012.
A copy of the press release dated October 17, 2012 giving details associated with the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
