Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

The ServiceMaster Company (the “Company”) announces that Thomas G. Brackett, the President of the Company’s TruGreen segment, has resigned from the Company.  The effective date for Mr. Brackett’s resignation as President of TruGreen was October 9, 2012.   He will remain employed with the Company in a non-executive officer capacity until October 15, 2012.  The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Hank Mullany, will serve as interim President of TruGreen until a new President is hired.  The Company and Mr. Brackett are discussing the specific terms of a separation agreement, which will be publicly disclosed at such time as an agreement is reached between the parties.
