Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 5, 2012, Response Genetics, Inc. (the “Company”) received a notice (the “Notice”) from The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC (“NASDAQ”) advising that the Company has regained compliance with the $35 million minimum market value of listed securities requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market, as set forth in NASDAQ Listing Rule 5550(b)(2). The Notice indicated that this matter is now closed.
On October 8, 2012, the Company issued a press release announcing the events set forth in this Item 8.01. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
