On October 10, 2012, National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation issued a press release announcing the expiration of its offer to exchange its 8.00% Medium Term Notes, Series C, due 2032 for consideration of Collateral Trust Bonds due November 1, 2032 and cash. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibits 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
