ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.
Boston Scientific Corporation (the Company) announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Rhythmia Medical, Inc., a privately held company based in Burlington, MA. Rhythmia Medical is a developer of next-generation mapping and navigation solutions for use in cardiac catheter ablations. The acquisition closed today.
A copy of the Company's press release announcing the signing of an agreement to acquire Rhythmia Medical, Inc., is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
