Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On October 5, 2012, Imperial Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the filing of its Annual Report on Form 10-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and that the Company expects to become current in its financial reporting during the fourth quarter of 2012. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 herewith.
