Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 1, 2012, F & M Bank Corp. issued a press release announcing the opening of a loan production office in Fishersville, VA and the opening of its Dealer Finance Division in Penn Laird, VA. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
