Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 24, 2012, Trustmark Corporation, a Mississippi corporation, issued a joint press release with Federated Investors, Inc. (“Federated”) announcing the completion of a sale of assets by Trustmark Investment Advisors, Inc. (“TIA”) to Federated and certain of Federated’s subsidiaries, pursuant to the terms of a previously announced definitive agreement between Federated, TIA and Trustmark National Bank. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
