Item 8.01 Other Events
On September 18, 2012, the Board of Directors of Horizon Bancorp (the “Company”) approved an increase in the Company’s quarterly cash dividend from 13 cents to 15 cents per share payable on October 12, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012. Additional information about the dividend increase is included in the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
