Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 14, 2012, Inland Real Estate Corporation (NYSE: IRC) announced that it had declared a cash dividend of $0.169271 per share on the outstanding shares of its 8.125% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, $0.01 par value per share (the “Preferred Stock”), payable on October 15, 2012, to Preferred Stockholders of record at the close of business on October 1, 2012. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated in its entirety in this Item 8.01 disclosure by reference.
