Item 8.01 Other Events.
The Company announced today that Mr. Scott Hoffman has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer, effective September 10, 2012.
Mr. Hoffman has 18 years of industry experience, coming to Finish Line after three years as managing director for Echo Design Group. Prior to Echo Design Group, Mr. Hoffman held key merchandising positions at Steve and Barry’s, Brooks Brothers, and A|X Armani Exchange and served as a buyer for Lord and Taylor. Mr. Hoffman earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Syracuse University.
Further information regarding Mr. Hoffman’s appointment is set forth in the press release issued on September 10, 2012, a copy of which is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
