Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 20, 2012, Tessera Technologies, Inc. issued a press release regarding an initial payment of approximately $20 million that Tessera, Inc. received from Amkor Technology, Inc. (“Amkor”) related to the interim award the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) issued on July 6, 2012, in favor of Tessera, Inc. in its dispute with Amkor. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibits 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
