Item 8.01 Other Events
On August 16, 2012, Autoliv, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share for the fourth quarter 2012. The dividend will be payable on Thursday, December 6, 2012 to stockholders of record on the close of business on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. The ex-date when the shares will trade without the right to the dividend will be Monday, November 19, 2012.
A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
