Weyerhaeuser Company is filing this amendment to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on June 20, 2012, which reported the appointment of Doyle R. Simons to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective June 29, 2012. At the time of his election, no determination had been made regarding committees of the Board on which Mr. Simons would serve. On August 9, 2012, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Simons to serve on the Compensation and Finance Committees.
