Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 24, 2012, KiOR, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has been granted Part 79 registration for its Renewable Gasoline Blendstock 5 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A copy of the Company’s July 24, 2012 press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
