Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 19, 2012, First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly dividend to common shareholders of $0.12 per share to be paid on July 16, 2012 to shareholders of record as of July 2, 2012.
