Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 15, 2012, Inland Real Estate Corporation (NYSE: IRC) announced that it had paid a cash dividend of $0.169271 per share on the outstanding shares of its 8.125% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, $0.01 par value per share (the “Preferred Stock”), to holders of record of Preferred Stock at the close of business on June 1, 2012. In addition, on June 15, 2012, the Company declared a cash dividend of $0.169271 per share on the outstanding shares of its Preferred Stock, payable on July 16, 2012 to holders of record of Preferred Stock at the close of business on July 2, 2012. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated in its entirety in this Item 8.01 disclosure by reference.
