Item 8.01. Other Events.
Metro Bancorp, Inc., parent company of Metro Bank (the “Bank”), has announced that the Bank has been informed by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking (the “Department”) that the Department has terminated the Consent Order issued by the Department against the Bank on April 29, 2010. The Termination Order was issued on May 30, 2012, by the Department and was effective on April 12, 2012. According to the Termination Order, the Consent Order was terminated pursuant to the Department's authority under the Department of Banking Code.
