Section 8 – Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 23, 2012, Viacom Inc. announced that its Board of Directors had approved an increase in its quarterly cash dividend on its Class A and Class B common stock from $0.25 per share to $0.275 per share. The next quarterly cash dividend will be payable on July 2, 2012 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 15, 2012. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
