On May 18, 2012, Jess E. Jarratt provided notice of his resignation from the Board of Directors of Wells Timberland REIT, Inc. (the “Company”) to be effective June 11, 2012. Mr. Jarratt did not have any disagreements with the Company on any matters related to the Company's operations, policies or practices.
