Item 8.01. Other events.
On May 8, 2011, ADTRAN, Inc. (the “Company”) held a conference call with investors, analysts and other interested parties to provide information regarding the closing of the Company’s acquisition of Nokia Siemens Network’s fixed line Broadband Access business.
A copy of the Company’s press release, dated May 6, 2012, announcing the completion of its acquisition of the Nokia Siemens Networks fixed line Broadband Access business is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein and a transcript of the conference call is available at http://www.adtran.com.
